Well go figure! No one did any
extensive riding during the holidays! I guess we all had to be
ready for Santa! Wishing everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS from Station
202! |

On the road again! why does it
always seem that the coldest day seems to be the best to ride
in? Sun is out! No wind to speak of but the breeze between your
knees! Went to P.C. today to make the Bikers for Kids Parade.
Ok, we didn't make the parade but we did meet with a few of our
brothers on two wheels from the Red Knights Chapter and other
local M.C's. Had a great time at the meet and greet! we'd like
to thank our fellow riders to the south for an appreciative time
at the clubhouse! Looking forward to doing it again! |

A lot of kudos goes out to the
Club for making this happen! We braved the cold to make our
first appearance in the Marianna Christmas Parade this year! And
boy was it ever! After the parade was over a lot of people
couldn't tell you much about the parade but they did remember
the motorcycles! Long live the Iron Horse! |

The reports are in! The turnout
was good. Unfortunately the weather was not as accommodating.
The threat of rain was a bit too much for some of the antique
cars to make the trip. We'd like to thank those that did brave
the weather and was rewarded without a day of rain. There were
many people who enjoyed the events as we struggled to make
adjustments. The recipients all had a blast, especially Brandi
who swears she is buying a set of chaps and leather jacket. We
didn't make the quota we had hope to achieve but smiles were had
by all. It is still considered a success. Next time...... |

Well kudos goes out to our lone
rider to the Tally event for the Viet Nam Vets and Patriot Guard
Riders 2nd Annual Salute to Veterans . Our very own Bullet
braved the masses and the traffic to make it on time and boy
howdy did she! We met up with her at the end of the ride and
escorted our pride and joy home! Her conviction is awe
inspiring! Thanks Bullet! Also on the scene was our sister Sta.
8 from Tallahassee! Who said they don't like to ride? |

Children are our future! Thia
Perez was just in a bad spot at the right time. After having
multiple surgeries from his injury this strong young man was
able to make this ride. 5 yrs old and having been kicked in the
face by a horse, seemed to have no ill effects and was having a
blast! Even after the event he was bound and determined to ride
the motorcycles! such a strong fellow! |

Now this thing, the Ten Year
Burn, just couldn't be missed! The opportunity to meet other
Fire and Iron members, new people, new bikes to see, was worth
all the time it took to get there! A large thanks goes to all
the stations involved in the prep for this huge gathering! Being
able to meet the National Officers and all else was grand! They
are doing such a great job! Fun , fun, and more was had by all!
Food, drinks, parties, and the pool! Yes Sir, Let's do it again
in Boston! |

Veterans are Firefighters
Heroes! Need anything else be said? 7 of us braved the early
morning I-10 ride to Tallahassee for the 9/11 Memorial event at
the state Capital. The event was partially put on by our
sister Sta 8. Kudos to the Pres for all his effort and making us
feel at home there! |

Mike "Sunrunner"
Blum, President Station 202 and Jim "Sharkey" Pruitt,
President Station 77 have 100% agreement from both Stations'
members to have St. 202 absorb St. 77 entirely. Sunrunner is
providing the St. 77 members with their new 202 rockers.
Although this reduces the number of Florida Stations, it adds
strength in numbers to the newly organized Station 202. This
absorbing was due to St. 77's limited ability for recruitment of
new members and their close proximity of Calhoun and Jackson
Counties. |

on Aug 22nd, we had a very
successful poker run for Sharon Casey of Malone. Sharon had been
diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. 37 fellow bikers and friends joined
together and rode well into the afternoon and ended the ride at
Half Shells Oyster Bar in Marianna. We managed to surpass our
goal for her and allow her family to make her wish come true!
thanks for everyone's effort and support! |

Riding for a cause. Dusty Rhodes Poker Run
in PC! great day for a ride. Had a bit of rain there on the ride
but most of the day was awesome. Nothing like a reason to ride
for! |
| 6/20/09 |
Now it was time to meet our brothers at our
sister stations. We made the trek to Destin and had a Meet and
Greet at Hogs Breath Saloon. Food was great, company was
awesome, and the weather was HOT! Thanks to F&I 36 and 55
for making this a memorable time. After the main event we took a
ride and finished the day off at the Outpost and had a swell
time with good music! |
| 5/17/09 |
As our second official ride,
members rode to ST. Augustine for the Riding into History event
with Dennis Gage from ESPN's SpeedChannel. The event was
unbelievable and so was the ride home. Rain was the event for
the ride home. Best time we'd had in a long time! |
| 4/29/09 |
For our first run, we had
several riders show their support for our troops and helped to
escort the Viet Nam Wall to Appalachicola to the Three Soldiers
Memorial Park.
